Over the years, the school leadership has strived to ensure parental
and community involvement as one of the key supports of student
success. Kept from traditional methods of involvement by distance
and expense, alternative forms of community support have arisen.
Perhaps the most important of these has been the sponsor program
for a girl and become in loco parentis for her during her time
at Xavier. Likewise, may of the boys who are not from Chuuk also
have host families to whom they can turn for support and change
of pace.
Xavier continues to rely on the support of parents and local
sponsors for the success of students. We welcome any efforts for
parents to work with us throughout the year.
